JUST TRANSITION KNOWLEDGE NETWORK (JETNET)

Collaborate. Cocreate. Co-learn.

About Us

The Just Transition Knowledge Network (JETNET) brings together organizations that are committed to building evidence-based and policy-relevant knowledge for a just and sustainable future. Spearheaded by the Just Transition Research Centre, IIT Kanpur this collaborative network aims to co-create a comprehensive knowledge base through capacity building and vibrant knowledge exchange.

Why do we need a network?

Just transition is an evolving research agenda and a longterm policy imperative. The challenges of decarbonizing India's developmental trajectory are complex and distinct. The JETNET will create a dedicated research cohort that exclusively engages with multiple challenges and aspects of just energy transition. This will lead to a targeted allocation and flow of research and funding resources.
